In this workshop you will explore the possibilities of working with stained glass using a Tiffany style technique. By means of pre-cut glass pieces, you will create the beautiful Japanese Quilters Sampler, learning how to tape around glass using copper foil. Then, soldering the pieces together with silver coloured metals to enhance its appearance. The Japanese Quilters Sampler comes with a wooden display stand. The main patterned design has been enameled fused onto glass and there is a choice of either a soft green or baroque blue design surround. This glass workshop session is a Limited Edition of the design. Tracey will also explain the design & production process of her glass work. Your finished sampler will measure approximately 9 x 15cm.
