Folk Art painting is something that anyone can learn, as it’s a skill based art, so it is achieved with practice, rather than a natural talent for art. You learn different techniques and brushstrokes and put them together to create your design, and everyone can learn it! There are no previous drawing or painting skills needed. Folk It provides you with all the patterns for the designs, which you simply trace over, so you don’t need to be able to draw. The tracings are transferred onto practice paper and projects and then simply filled in with paint using the different brushstrokes and dots that you have learnt! It’s great fun and very addictive!
