The time has finally come to reveal the culmination of hours of hard work from over 2,000 individuals. It has taken over 400 balls of wool and 1.8 million stitches to get this 13ft high hand knitted project ready to share – no mean feat! The area will not only house the larger than life poppy and suffragette tributes, it will also display many messages written in memory of those lost in the War. Why not join our paint a poppy area and contribute your own piece of art to the surrounding walls; or take a moment in our knit and knatter space. A mindful area set to tug on the heartstrings.
