A community project that has put Llandysul firmly on the Knitted Map! Textile Artist Sue Howell designed this community project after she moved to Llandysul as a route to getting to know people and to develop her creative skills. Worked by 10 volunteer knitters who met every week for 12 months, this eye-catching piece full of colour and detail was created. After being on display at the National Wool Museum in Drefach Velindre, and receiving national press it has led to a new project – Knit your Town. Wolverhampton has already made its own map and Knit Newbury will be completed in 2018.
